I met Dean over 20 years ago when I wanted to have a porting job on one of my SkiDoo’s . I was impressed with the quality of workmanship he did. The sled ran great and was extremely durable. At that time his shop was in Fowlerville and we lived in Novi. When he moved to northern Mi I continued have him do all of the work on my boats, sleds and bikes and the works was always top notch. Dean is a master with all aspects of snowmobiles, dirt bikes and marine applications. Dean was instrumental in putting together a “sleeper” high performance sled for me working on everything from the engine to the suspension. That sled was amazing on both the trail and the lake; we even went on an 1800 mile trip through Canada without incident. Dean also rebuilt my YZ250 engine & suspension and 2 tired SeaDoo engines for me which are now all running like new. Dean’s shop is fully equipped to perform machining, boring, welding, part preparation and just about everything needed to work on all motorsport equipment. That’s reassuring to me knowing the same level of detail is in all aspects of his work. I wouldn’t go anywhere else to have my work done on sleds, bikes, boats or anything else motorsports related. We had an Intermittent Starting problem with my Daughter's Ski Doo Snowmobile. It only took 3 days to assess the problem. There was a poor connection at the fuse box and terminal blades were tightened to insure a solid connection would be maintained. The snowmobile was left for 2 additional days and randomly started to insure the engine cranked and fired every time. Dean, the Owner and his Lead Technician updated me and were outstanding with their communications. When presented with the Invoice for Labor I believed there was a mistake and was not charged enough for their diagnosis, repair and testing after the repair for all of their Labor. Dean told me that covered their labor. I was expecting to be charged 3 times greater than the final Invoice! That is Integrity that you do not find consistently with Businesses today! Between my Daughter and my family we have 7 older snowmobiles. Precision Motor Sports and Marine have my business for a lifetime. I have known and dealt with Dean for approx. 25 years and he is the ONLY mechanic that touches our machines, period. We ride as a group of families mostly and the last thing I need are breakdowns in the woods with women and small children. I followed him from downstate where he lived and worked before to Northern MI where his current shop is located. BTW, his shop/facilities are second to none. He knows his business, is professional, efficient, knowledgeable and his pricing is more than reasonable. My adult son, my siblings and many many friends have chosen to work exclusively with Dean over the years since I first introduced them due to his exceptional knowledge, expertise, cost and ethics. If it doesn't need fixed now, he will tell you but will make recommendations. Every dollar I have spent there has been well worth the $$$. When we have looked for used machines/equipment for sale in the past, I always call Dean to see what he has or knows about, especially the machines he has maintained.
