Quick Tips to Remember

tip #1: EXTENDED BELT LIFE

For optimum snowmobile belt life: Before installing your new belt.... Clean the new belt in hot soapy water and scrub with a stiff brush.  Rinse with clean water.  Clean clutch faces with clutch and belt cleaner (in stock NOW) part#  PM81090 (pictured above).  Install new belt with label facing you or arrows pointing in forward rotation.  Adjust belt deflection with shims or dial adjuster.  Break in  belt for 50 miles with no hard acceleration.

tip #2: EXTENDED BATTERY LIFE

To extend the life of your snowmobile, boat, bike, atv,  batteries:   Keep batteries on a "Battery Tender" (pictured above).  Any battery that is going to sit in storage loses its charge over time.  The job of the "Battery Tender" is to keep the charge up on the battery when it is not in use.   No need to worry about remembering to charge your battery once a month- Just hook it up and it does the rest.  We always have them in stock.

tip #3: TRACK TENSION ACCURACY

Track tension is impairative to the power your sled puts to the ground.  To avoid loosing power due to track slippage or premature wear from over tightening, we recomend an actual "Track Tension Tool" (pictured above).  Above all other methods, this tool will provide you with the most accurate track tension for your individual sled.  Instructions are included and our staff is happy to answer any questions regarding proper use.  We always have "Track Tension Tools" in stock.

We will update tips according to seasonal demands.  Keep checking back.  Thanks for stopping in!!! Laughing
